On Thursday October 11th, 2018, Lisa and I were invited to Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor for a behind the scenes look at the makeup process that brings Dark Harbor to life. We had the pleasure of meeting many talented makeup artists and watching them work seamlessly, knocking out different makeup looks in a matter of 10-15 minutes per character. The work they do is quick, efficient and quite honestly amazing. They are some of the most talented artists in the business. This is a look into their work and the magic they create. Enjoy.
On Wednesday October 3rd, 2018 we were invited to the press preview event for Warner Bros. Studios - Horror Made Here - A Festival of Frights. It was Warner Bros. 3rd year doing the event however it was our first. We had no idea what to expect but by the end of the evening, we were very pleasantly surprised. Antonia Carlotta is the great, great niece of Carl Laemmle, the founder of Universal Studios. On Friday June 23rd, 2017 Hatbox Photography was fortunate enough to bring a life long dream of hers to life when she was turned into the Bride of Frankenstein in the first of what will become a multi-part series. Down the road there will be other parts where Antonia is transformed into Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Mummy along with other classic horror film icons. This is our review for opening night of Knott's Scary Farm 2016. This is our honest opinion of all mazes, shows and scare zones. As long time fans and former talent of the event, we tend to be very critical and expect the very best from Knott's. This year's event does not disappoint and may be one of the best year's Knott's Scary Farm has had in a very long time.
This is my review on Creep LA, one of LA's hottest new Halloween attractions. This is a must see event. Such a talented group of artists and actors that have come together to provide you with a creepy good time this Halloween season.
